Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, SMART Transit busses will be temporarily suspended, according to SMART Transit. Starting March 19, fixed routes in Moscow will be closed until April 4. Fixed routes are the bus route schedules that go around Moscow. Because SMART Transit is run by a board of directors, they choose to set the timeline which this suspension would take affect on, driver and dispatcher at SMART Transit, Lori Bohn said.
Although fixed routes will be out of service Dial-a-Ride will have limited service Monday – Friday. Dial-a-Ride will be available for trips to medical, pharmacy, grocery and work.
