A running list of businesses closed due to coronavirus

With the recent recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention limiting group sizes to 50 and under, we complied a list of local businesses in Moscow who have either closed or modified their hours.

Fast Food

Fast food lobbies

Many restaurants in Moscow are closing down seating areas but some are continuing to provide take-out delivery, including McDonald’s, KFC, MOD Pizza and Sonic Drive-in.

Grocery Stores

Local grocery stores are seeing a shortage of products. To help restock and sanitize stores are adjusting their hours.

Walmart

The Moscow Walmart will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. to allow employees time to clean and restock items.

WinCo

WinCo will be closed midnight to 7 a.m. every day to allow for cleaning and restocking. There is a limit on paper and sanitizer products.

Rosauers

Starting March 16, all Roausers stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Safeway

Safeway is still open.

Moscow Food Co-Op – University of Idaho campus location

In response to the University of Idaho’s decision to move to online-only courses for the rest of the semester, the Moscow Food Co-Op on UI’s campus is reducing their hours to 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. They will evaluate whether to keep the store open in the upcoming weeks.

Local Restaurants/Bars

Lodgepole

Melissa Barham, co owner of Lodgepole, said they have started doing takeout and delivery for a limited time. Effective immediately the hours for delivery are Tuesday through Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and then Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Barham encourages guests with questions, concerns or dietary restrictions to call them at (208) 882-2268 to make sure they can provide the best service for each customer.

Mock Orange

Mock Orange announced on their Facebook page on Sunday they will be closed until further notice.

“We’ll reopen when we feel like we can,” the Facebook post said.

Colter’s Creek Vineyard and Winery

Colter’s Creek Vineyard and Winery canceled all events for this month. Updates on events and tasting room hours can be found on their Facebook page.

Maialina Pizzeria Napoletana

Maialina Pizzeria Napoletana will be closed for dine-in but will be staying open for take-out orders from 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. daily.

The menu is limited to wood fired pizza, salad and bottles of wine with 20-25% discounts.

Hunga Dunga Brewing Company

Hunga Dunga Brewing Company has canceled all their events in March. They will be open during normal business hours but are encouraging customers to order take-out rather than dining in.

Garden Lounge

The Garden Lounge will be closed until further notice.

Sangria Grille

Sangria is closed to dine in business but will have take out orders only from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. They have a limited menu with a 20-25% discounts.

La Casa Lopez

La Casa Lopez is closed to dine in business but will have take out and deliver orders available. Carry out and delivery hours at 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is closed for dine in business but will have take out and deliver orders available. Carry and delivery hours are 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. every day except Tuesday.

Mikey’s Gyros

Mikey’s Gyros will be closed for dine in business but will have takeout and delivery options available starting March 23. Carry out and delivery hours are 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Coffee

Cafe Artista

Cafe Artista is currently closed for small renovations and deep cleaning. Regular business will resume on March 19.

Kamiak Coffee Company

Kamiak Coffee company will not offer tours, employee only online orders are still available. They have made working from home a company standard for many employees along with restricting access to the roastery to key production personal according to an email sent to customers.

They will be offering free shipping for orders over 20 dollars, a discount of five pound orders and free local delivery in Moscow and Pullman.

Other

Bath and Body Works – Palouse Mall

According to a Facebook post from Bath and Works, all stores in the United States and Canada will be closing. The online store will still be taking orders and shipping.

Hot Topic – Palouse Mall

Hot Topic announced they would be closing all stores starting March 17 through March 30 on their Facebook page.

Old Navy – Palouse Mall

Old Navy is closed in the Palouse Mall until further notice.

Paradise Cafe – Palouse Mall

Paradise Cafe in the Palouse Mall will be closed starting March 19 until further notice. The owners are evaluating whether to stay open on a daily basis and will continue to post updates on their Facebook and Instagram. 

Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre

In response to concerns of the health and safety of staff, customers and community members regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre has decided to close until April 9.

According to the Kenworthy’s website, the staff will receive full pay through the end of March.

Bonkerz Indoor Play Center

Bonkerz Indoor Play Center is closed until April 6. More information and updates about this business can be found on their website.

Moscow Facilities: Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center gym and multipurpose room, Eggan Youth Center, Third Street Gallery, Moscow School District Playgrounds

City of Moscow announced in a meeting Monday, facilities programs will be canceled as a result of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Recommendation of limiting public gatherings of 50 or more people. Those include the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center gym and multipurpose room, Eggan Youth Center, Third Street Gallery and the Moscow School District Playgrounds.

Altered Ego

Altered Ego has decided that in order to ensure the safety of customers and employees they are requiring all drop-offs and pick-ups be done by appointment only until further notice.

This announcement came Tuesday morning on their Facebook page. According to the post, customers can meet employees at the bottom of the stairs to pick up times if they choose to do so. They are also allowing customers to reschedule appointments.

In the post, they said that between each appointment they will sanitize the doors and services in the businesses and garments will be put in plastic garment bags.

Appointments can be made by calling (208) 596-4017 and are available Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Eastside Marketplace Indoor Squishy Park

The Eastside Marketplace Indoor Squishy Park will be temporarily closed until further notice. All other businesses in Eastside Marketplace are open.

Latah Recovery Center

Latah Recovery Center will be limiting the number of people allowed in the center to 20 people. They will also be moving recovery coaching sessions online or over the phone if necessary.

Palouse Ice Rink

The Palouse Ice Rink closed on Monday and will stay closed indefinitely. Updates on future events or if they will reopen check their Facebook page and website.

The McConnel Mansion

The McConnel Mansion will be closed until at least April 6.

Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center

The Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center have canceled it’s April board meeting. The National Championship show has not been canceled yet.

The Hope Center

The Hope Center will be reducing their hours and will be open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. until April 24.

First Step Internet

First Step Internet’s office will be closed until further notice. According to their Facebook page, payments can be made online, by mail or can be dropped off in the drop box outside their office. Questions about billing can be answered by emailing [email protected] or by calling (208) 882-8869.

ClearView Eye Clinic

ClearView Eye Clinic will be closing their office for routine eye exams until March 30. Those routine exams will be rescheduled, and they will only accept urgent and emergency eye care services. They will also provide necessary surgery if needed.
