The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) issued a statement Monday evening announcing the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be issuing 90 day extensions on expiring credentials to minimize crowd sizes due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The extension will apply to driver’s licenses and non-commercial registration expiring between March 1 and May 31, according to a press release from the Idaho Transportation Department. Commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) will not be a part of this extension.
Expiring credentials will have until June 30, 2020 to renew.
