Bachelor Breakdown: Is the show going down the toilet?

A recap and commentary of "The Bachelor" from a true fan

This week us bachelor fans got to take a break from Peter’s journey to re-hash some drama showcased this season for the Women Tell All.

Women Tell All is probably one of my favorite parts of every season of “The Bachelor.” The catty childish drama re-arises. However, it’s nice to see the ladies apologize for acts they did on the show that were despised by the public. They also announce the new bachelorette.

The episode was two hours long with tons of commercials and now while reflecting on the episode, not much really happened.

Tammy never apologized for her accusations against Kelsey of her being “alcoholic” and a “pill popper”. She just rolled her eyes and sat there.

C’mon. Be an adult for once.

Victoria F was on stage after being sent home this week — leaving Peter’s final two to be Madison and Hannah Ann.

I was not happy at how she handled this season by not trusting Peter and pushing him away. But when she spoke, she said something I feel women relate to everywhere. She said she had something so good that she couldn’t believe it for herself. So, the easier thing was to push him away and not embrace him.

She was very mature on stage handling the situation with Peter. Frankly, I’m a Victoria F fan now and am rooting for her to find love in the future.

Let’s not forget champagne gate!

This was the most memorable moment in the season for me. This was when Kelsey got mad at Hannah Ann for stealing her champagne and “her moment” with Peter. This was hilarious. Getting mad over a bottle of champagne is ridiculous but makes for great television entertainment. She embraces this during Women Tell All, and I love her for it.

I wish Kelsey would be the bachelorette, but instead they picked Clare Crawley. I don’t understand their logic. Sure, she’s older and probably more mature. But also, she is recycled and has been on the bachelor franchise at least four times. This is too much and I’m tired of seeing her on my television screen.

Besides them showing a brief advertisement of who the new Bachelorette is, they also showed an advertisement for the new bachelor show “Listen To Your Heart.” I’ve seen previews for this numerous times and have been thinking this spinoff will probably be the stupidest thing ever to hit the screen — yet after watching the drama on the preview — I’m probably going to watch it. And I hate myself for it.

On Women Tell All they also addressed online harassment, which is important topic to discuss but will this stop the hate? I’m not convinced. The producers of the show edit the episodes to portray certain people in a certain light. And as long as the show continues to air, sadly, things like this will most likely keep happening.

But will the show continue?

After this unimpressive season of Peter being “The Bachelor,” next having Clare Crawley being “The Bachelorette” and now the franchise bringing on a new show “Listen to Your Heart,” the franchise might be starting to go down the toilet.

But will I keep watching? Of course. The drama keeps me going.

And next week is the last week of The Bachelor. Peter will have his ending and all will be revealed. Will it be Madison? Or Hannah Ann? Will Peter end up alone?

Tune in for the two-night finale next week Bachelor nation.
