Crumbs: Easy cookie in a mug

Many of us miss the taste of homemade cookies but we don’t want to make a full batch just for ourselves. Satisfy your craving with this delicious single-serving recipe.

Cook time: 5 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk (discard the egg white)
  • ¼ cup of flower
  • 2 tbsp of chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a microwave safe mug, melt butter on high for about 5 seconds.
  2. Add sugars, vanilla and salt. Stir and combine.
  3. Separate egg yolk and add yolk only to cup.
  4. Add flour and stir again.
  5. Add chocolate chips and stir one last time.
  6. Cook in microwave for about 40-60 seconds.
  7. Let cookie cool before eating.
