Before I turned on the television Monday night, I watched many previews on “The Bachelor” for this week’s episode and I was already forming opinions about the six women left. Frankly, I’m not sure who Peter is going to pick, but this episode gave me a better idea on making my own predictions.
The episode started off on a high note, Madison got another one on one. It’s been a while since her and Peter really spent time together since her first date with him was at the start of the season. She met his family and even watched his parents renew their vows. This time, they caught fish and caught more feelings.
We learned something big about Madison this episode — she’s religious. And she wants a religious man. When she told Peter at dinner how much her faith meant to her, he then proceeded to say he is falling in love with her.
I bet you’re asking yourself, did he say that correctly? Falling in love? Yes.
That’s sweet and all but it’s a bit too early in the season to be telling someone that and I think that’s something the bachelor should be telling the woman he gives his final rose to. If they watch him telling other women on the show he was falling in love with them, it may hinder his current blossoming relationship.
Madison’s reaction was very telling in how she feels about Peter. She was happy. With the previews I think she has a good chance of getting Peter’s final rose but somehow her faith is going to get into the way of their relationship. Will it be her family? Guess we will see next week.
The next one on one with Natasha was just hard to watch. I think it was too late for her and Peter to develop something. They just didn’t have the time. By the end of the day Peter liked her just as a friend. I’m not surprised in the slightest. I was surprised she made the final six in the first place so I was prepared for her to leave.
Then there was Kelsey. Her and Peter’s relationship has really been blossoming, but the way she speaks to him gives me the feeling she feels more for him then he does for her. I think he’s keeping her around as a backup choice. I love Kelsey though and am kind of hoping she will be the next bachelorette.
The three on one was strange. Honestly, I can’t see any of these women ending up with Peter. Kelley and Peter lost their connection. I was already showing her the door a few weeks ago.
Sure, the other two have connections with him but I could kind of see where Kelley was coming from when she was trash talking them. They are a bit young and seem like they will run at the sight of commitment.
And to be honest, I’m liking Hannah Ann less and less. She cried after she got a rose? C’mon you aren’t going home. Stop crying and saying this is so hard on you. It’s not. Get over yourself!
Any predictions on Peter’s final two? I’m guessing it’ll be Hannah Ann and Madison. I also think next episode will be the one where Victoria F breaks down again, but I think Peter will not be so forgiving.
See you next week bachelor fans. In the meantime, maybe write a list of reasons you’re falling for your significant other for Valentine’s Day like Hannah Ann did. But come up with more specific and better reasons why.
