This week, us Bachelor fans were blessed with not only one night but two drama filled nights of “The Bachelor” and boy it’s been a lot to soak in.
I don’t even know how to handle this season of “The Bachelor.” It has been one thing after the other. It seems like problems arise every five minutes and for some reason I’m not for it this season.
At the beginning of Monday’s episode, Alayah finally went home but her scene only took five minutes. Not much was discussed on how it all went down, so it got me wondering what drama is leering around the corner? I quickly realized a bucket of it was. But that’s for discussion later.
Holy one on one dates! There were a lot between these last few episodes this week but some of them I just weren’t feeling at all.
First up was Sydney in beautiful Chile, and all it seemed to me was Peter and her making out during the date. It just seemed awkward and I couldn’t see them being a real thing at the end of this.
She seemed fake to me from the beginning, and the way she acted around Peter didn’t seem real. I felt like she was being flirtatiousness with the moves but it did nothing for me. And her saying “like” every five seconds became way too annoying. She isn’t right for Peter and I could tell from the get-go.
Next was Kelley. Her and Peter have been trickling off and their chemistry isn’t a thing anymore. Sure, maybe it was fait because they met before the show, but that isn’t much to go off of. Kelley doesn’t seem invested in Peter and the way they interacted on their one on one got me thinking that Kelley might not be there for the right reasons, or she just doesn’t know how to handle this environment.
She seems to just want to be there for the vacations since she throws the word fun around a lot in her interviews and at Peter. But she got a rose — shocker. I’m kind of done with Kelley and am waiting for her to go home.
Hannah Ann also got a one on one date and yeesh that was a bit much for me. She went from telling Peter she has never been in love with someone to crying to him and telling him she is falling in love with him at dinner. This felt all sorts of fishy. Based off of that behavior sequence, this leads me to believe she is not there for the right reasons as well. She seems to be wanting the publicity and potentially wanting to be the new Bachelorette. I’m going to keep my eye on her for the rest of the season.
Let’s not forget how Victoria F. got another one on one. Out of all the women, it seems like Peter is most smitten with her. With how insecure she is about herself and how reserved she is toward him makes me think somehow she is going to screw it all up with him.
Will she have another emotional breakdown next episode? Probably. And with how she has been acting this season, it seems to me like she is ready for a boyfriend — not a husband. Next!
That’s enough drama for me. But then, it all spirals out of control with Tammy in the center of the drama tornado. Between Tammy telling Peter that Kelsey is an alcoholic and abusing prescription drugs and Tammy telling Peter that Mykenna is there for the wrong reasons — I couldn’t with Tammy anymore. I kept yelling at the television with anger and questioning why was she still there. That is so disrespectful. I get there is a villain in every season but this was a bit much.
Peter eliminated quite a few women this last week and at times I just felt bad for these women. Peter told Victoria P. that he doesn’t see her has his wife and how he is not secure in their relationship. Then poof. She’s gone.
Peter is making quite a few mistakes this season. Somehow I think maybe he isn’t ready for a real commitment after all.
Let’s be real though, the best moment of these two episodes was listening to Mykenna’s interview and her saying how in love she is with herself. That’s real woman power right there. All women need to feel that way. Regardless if they have a man in their life.
Well. Now it’s down to six. Madison, Natasha, Hannah Ann, Victoria F, Kelley and Kelsey. Who will get the final rose? I don’t know about you but I am anxious to find out how Peter’s journey ends.
