It is the first week of December and the clock is ticking on this semester. Though we are all still stuck in fall break jet lag, here are a few events in Moscow that may get us back on our feet.
Vandalizing the Kitchen | Wednesday

The University of Idaho is glad to host a free cooking class to students and people of the Palouse. Vandalizing the Kitchen is an opportunity to learn how to cook on a college budget. There are free samples to go around during the class. Who doesn’t love free food?
Seventh Annual Home for the Holidays Gingerbread Fundraiser | Wednesday

Do something right this December and support Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse this Wednesday. For $30 a ticket comes with a complimentary drink, as well as access to a complementary buffet. You can get a raffle ticket for a gingerbread house or just look at the creative displays. All money is going to a great cause and there isn’t a fundraiser without “fun”.

Tasteful Thursdays at Moscow Food Co-op | Thursday

The Moscow Food Co-op loves introducing new palates to curious eaters. To whoever is curious about food in Moscow, this is the right event. On Thursday, Moscow Food Co-op will host Tasteful Thursdays once again. Venues around Moscow will be at the Co-op for enjoyment.
Light up the Night Parade | Friday

This special festival is not one to miss in Moscow. The parade will take place downtown and will light up the night to celebrate upcoming winter. It goes down Main Street, and there will be plenty of space for anyone who wants to enjoy the lights. Come celebrate the winter season with the City of Moscow.

- Place: 1912 Center
- Price: Free
Those who love the farmers market can check out this winter version. Come to the 1912 Center to enjoy the Winter Market this Saturday. Admission is free but it won’t guarantee you leaving empty handed. Support local crafters and come to the Winter Market.
