The semester is wrapping up, but student workloads aren’t. Projects are due and exams are creeping near. At the end of a semester it’s hard to do anything other than study. Thankfully, break is almost here to relieve students from a stressful part in the semester. In the meantime, here are some events that will give the mind a break from school
Ings with Daniel Moses Botkin | Monday

Humble Burger presents Ings and Daniel Moses Botkin for a night of music. Ings is a musician coming from Seattle, and Botkin is a local song writer. Grab a snack and get cozy because this performance is worth it. The show is free to attend, but donating $5-$10 to the musicians is encouraged.
Health Hut: Health Resources On-the-Go | Wednesday

Vandal Health encourages students and Palouse residents to be more educated about overall health. They will be holding a health resources session to provide an educational opportunity for the Vandal community to learn more about health and well-being resources on campus. This is also a chance to speak with peer educators. Vandal swag will be up for grabs as well.
Thanksgiving Feast | Wednesday

- Place: The Grove Clubhouse

The Grove is celebrating Thanksgiving with plenty of food and fixings this Wednesday. The only thing people need to bring is an empty stomach and a big appetite. The feast will be in the clubhouse from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. with plenty of food for everyone to enjoy.
Third Thursday Open Mic | Thursday

- Place: Three Forks Bike and Brew

Have a special talent worth sharing at an open mic? Bring poems, music and more this Thursday for a great time. Performing is not required to attend, but there will be plenty of talented people to watch and enjoy.
Tasteful Thursdays | Thursday

- Place: Moscow Food Co-op
- Price: Free
Celebrate Moscow Food Co-op’s annual winter celebration with Tasteful Thursdays. Local vendors will be there with demos and seasonal flavored food and drinks. These products will be located in the kitchen and bakery, and there will be plenty of delicious samples to go around. This is the last tasteful Thursday of the month so be sure to go!
Bill LaVoie at One World Cafe | Friday

One World Cafe has a special guest this Friday and they aren’t one to miss. They are proud to present Bill Lavoie alongside Joe Evavold for a night of rock and roll Come listen to live music this Friday in downtown Moscow.

- Place: Humble Burger
- Price: Free
No matter what genre, live music is always a treat to listen to. End the week by coming to listen to the country and indie musicians Amanda Winterhalter, Marg Cilker and Meredith Brann at Humble Burger. Admission is free and is a great way to spend a Sunday night.
