A free, hands-on cooking class will be held Thursday afternoon in the Niccolls Building’s Carmelita Spencer Foods Laboratory.

The 4 p.m. event — Make It, Taste It, Take It — allows attendees to create three, simple healthy recipes and keep the leftovers.
“Participants will work along side the University of Idaho dietetic students, navigating their own cooking station,” the event page reads.
Registration for the hour-long event is required, and questions can be directed to the campus dietition, Mindy Rice — mindyr@uidaho.edu.
