Vandal Health Education will host a free showing of “Feed” Wednesday evening as part of their monthly mental health film series in the University of Idaho Agriculture Science Building.
The film, which stars Troian Bellisario and Tom Felton, centers on a high school senior (Bellisario) after her twin brother (Felton) tragically dies.
Bellisario’s character struggles with life following his death, causing her mental and physical health to deteriorate rapidly, as well as an eating disorder to develop.
Wednesday’s 6:30 p.m. showing is also part of Eating Disorder Awareness Week, which includes various other on-campus events. More information can be found on UI’s website.
“After the screening, join us for a discussion of the film, representation of mental health in media and an opportunity to ask questions related to mental health,” the Facebook event reads. “Join the conversation about mental health at the University of Idaho.”
No tickets are needed to attend.
