The University of Idaho Dance Program hosted a master class Tuesday afternoon with Repertory Dance Theater, a Salt Lake City, Utah, based dance company.
RDT instructors Lauren Curley, Daniel Do and Ursula Perry held the event in the UI Physical Education Building, giving students an opportunity to learn new and helpful techniques.
The students were encouraged to loosen up and have fun with their dance movements — not just focusing on what the instructor asked of them.
Curley and Do told those in attendance any of them could dance and find jobs, but being able to have fun is what makes someone an artist.
RDT performers also will be performed 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Washington State University’s Jones Theatre.
