Three people were hospitalized following a shooting in Cheney outside Zip’s Drive-In around 4 a.m. Saturday, reported the Spokesman Review.
There is no immediate danger to the public, according to the Cheney Police.
Two of the victims reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The severity of the third victim’s injuries are not known.
The identity of the shooter is unknown and has not been taken into custody.
The shooting occurred at 911 1st St., approximately just over a mile from Roos Stadium, where Idaho football is set to play Eastern Washington at 12 p.m. Saturday.
Cheney Police Captain Rick Beghtol told the Spokesman Review a large-scale fight involving around 500 people broke out not far from the scene of the shooting and the two may be connected.
