Meredith Spelbring, Idaho – 79, North Dakota – 65
Momentum is everything at this point in the season and right now the Vandals have that edge. The reigning Big Sky champs do not have the grit they once did. Idaho will come into the game ready to win and continue its hot streak on the road to Reno.
Brandon Hill, Idaho – 81, North Dakota – 69
If Idaho basketball wants to punch a ticket to the big dance, wins over struggling Big Sky teams like North Dakota are a must. The Vandals already rolled over the Fighting Hawks in late December, so expect a blowout in the Cowan Spectrum.
Colton Clark, Idaho – 70, North Dakota – 58
Idaho laid down a beating on UND in Grand Forks for the Big Sky opener a few weeks back. Expect a lot of the same as last year’s champs haven’t been quite up to par so far this year.
Chris Deremer, Idaho – 72, North Dakota – 62
Idaho looks to continue its hot streak. Expect big performances from the “Big Three” as well as a Vandal victory.
Jonah Baker, Idaho – 87, North Dakota – 70
The Vandals are headed for a favorable matchup with North Dakota. The Fighting Hawks will be coming into the final game of a four game, two-week road trip, and their leaky defense and poor rebounding should play right into Idaho’s strengths. Expect Blake to stay hot and take advantage of North Dakota’s problems on the glass.
Joe Sandoval, Idaho – 85, North Dakota – 63
Idaho has been on a hot streak in recent weeks. North Dakota can score but Idaho will use their defense as an advantage and get the win over the Fighting Hawks.
