The Vandals looked sharp in all silver as they picked up bowl eligibility in a 47-14 win over Texas State Saturday. This is the second time the Vandals have sported this combo and I must say this is my favorite new uniform.
Seeing Idaho finally get a full uniform in an alternate color is a nice change. I appreciate the step away from black and white with the use of only primary school colors, silver and gold. The matte helmets and small helmet stickers add another stylish element to the combo, though I do think the “V” logo would be a better decal than just “Idaho.” Gold numbers add shine to the jerseys.
It’s nice to see Idaho play in to the stylish side of college football by adding more options. I believe silver is the most exciting addition to Vandal uniforms in a long time.
