BREAKING: Pullman Police are requesting a fourth-degree assault charge for University of Idaho wide receiver Dezmon Epps.
Epps was indefinitely suspended from the Vandal Football team Oct. 26 for allegedly slapping his girlfriend at a Pullman bar.
Pullman Police Detective Sgt. Jake Opgenorth confirmed Epps as the sole suspect in a report of domestic abuse at a Pullman bar the weekend of Oct. 24.
Opgenorth said Tuesday they are forwarding their report and the request to the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office.
Opgenorth said Epps has retained an attorney.
