Ingredients:
- 4 Granny Smith apples

- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 package refrigerated Pillsbury piecrust
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Directions:

- Cut the top off of an apple
- Scoop out the core so that the apple looks like a little bowl, and repeat with each apple
- Fill each apple with pie filling
- Cut the piecrust into 4 by 1/2-inch strips and layer six strips atop each apple to form a lattice pattern
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
- Brush light coating of melted butter on latticed crust and sprinkle sugar/cinnamon on top
- Bake on any baking sheet or pan for 20 minutes or until the crust looks golden brown
