It is the time of year when people carve their pumpkins and just waste the seeds. Don’t throw away the seeds — with a little preparation, they taste great and make an awesome snack on the go.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit
- After carving your pumpkin separate the pulp from the seeds
- Wash seeds with cold water and dry
- In a bowl mix together melted butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder
- Add seeds to the mixture and coat them evenly
- Place seeds evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes
- Enjoy
