This doesn’t take much time or effort to prepare. All it takes is about 30 minutes from prep to finish, a large skillet and a list of things that some people may already have in their kitchen. This recipe is quick, easy and makes enough food for multiple meals.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion (diced, about one cup)
- One packed (about 1.25 ounces taco seasoning)
- Diced green chilies (seven ounces)
- 16 ounces salsa, any variety
- 1/2 pound rotini pasta, uncooked
- Shredded cheese (optional)
Directions:
- Brown ground beef and onions in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat, drain fat after meat and onions brown
- Add taco seasoning, chillies, salsa and two cups of water. Stir to combine
- Add pasta and stir
- Reduce heat to low
- Cover and cook 12-15 minutes or until pasta is cooked through. Serve with cheese
