Do you want simple comfort food? This mixed berry cobbler is an alternative that is less expensive and tastes as good or better than anything store bought. It can be made with fresh or thawed berries of any kind.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of self-rising flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of fruit (fresh or thawed)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- Mix the flour, sugar and milk in a large bowl
- Pour melted butter into baking dish
- Pour flour mixture into baking dish, pour towards the center and mix with butter
- Pour fruit into baking dish, evenly disbursed
- Bake for around one hour, until golden brown
