Wallace Time Machine
The Wallace Residence Center will hold its annual Wallace Time Machine from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday. The event seeks to provide an opportunity for students to spend Halloween night in an environment that is safe and sober.
Jazzmine Hudson, area coordinator for the Wallace Residence Center and this year’s adviser for the Wallace Time Machine, said the event is a night full of activities including a DJ, Wii games, movies, a photo booth, carnival games and dancing. Prizes will be awarded, including a movie gift basket, Vandal gift basket and a grocery store shopping spree.
The Residence Hall Association funds the event and people from different living groups within the residence halls have been involved in planning the event, according to Hudson.
The purpose of the Wallace Time Machine, aside from providing a safe and fun Halloween option, is to promote awareness of the resident community and to encourage new residents to join the Wallace Residence Center, Hudson said.
