As a college student it is not unusual to wake up in the morning hungry for something other than cereal but not have the time to make something. Cheesy hash browns can be made ahead of time and can be kept in the fridge for about a week.
Ingredients:
¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Onion powder
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 bag Ore Ida frozen hash browns
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cups shredded cheese
¾ cup sour cream
Tinfoil
Directions:
- Pre heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese.
- Spread mixture evenly into a 9×13” pan and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
- Cover the pan in tinfoil and put in oven for 25 minutes.
- Take tinfoil off and put back in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Season to taste and enjoy.
