In a spinoff of the recent weather delays that the Vandal football team has endured, the Idaho athletic department is having a ‘flash’ sale. On Friday fans can receive $5 off any regular priced ticket to Saturday’s season opening game against Western Michigan. In order to receive the discount, fans must purchase tickets off govandals.com and use the special offer code ‘lightning.’
In its first two games, Idaho had almost five hours of weather delays. The first game against Florida was cancelled and won’t be rescheduled this season. The second game versus Louisiana-Monroe was delayed late in the first quarter, but after two hours, the games was resumed and eventually finished. ULM edged out Idaho, 38-31.
