Italian food is always good to have when there are plenty of empty stomachs around the house. Pasta fills people up, and given a plateful of chicken parmesan they won’t be asking for dessert any time soon.

Serve with spaghetti and Caesar salad on the side for a well rounded meal.

 

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts

1 bag bread crumbs, parmesan flavored

½ cup mozzarella shredded

½ cup parmesan shredded

2-3 eggs

¼ cup of flour

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

1 jar garlic and herb spaghetti sauce

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Mix breadcrumbs and parmesan together in medium bowl
  3. Lightly flour the chicken
  4. Dip chicken in the beaten egg mixture
  5. Dip into breadcrumb mixture
  6. Drizzle oil over the top and bake for 20 minutes
  7. Flip and bake for 5 more minutes
  8. Remove from oven, put a spoonful of sauce over chicken
  9. Sprinkle parmesan and mozzarella
  10. Bake until cheese is melted
