I spend a lot of time staring into my pantry or fridge waiting for some cooked meal to magically appear. It usually doesn’t happen, so I grab the easiest thing to cook off of the shelf. This time, I saw a Knorr instant fiesta side, and knew I had some chicken in the freezer. So, the idea came to make chicken and rice, with a Spanish twist.
Ingredients:
1 chicken breast, sliced into pieces
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 Knorr Spanish rice, fiesta side
1 McCormick Taco Seasoning packet
3 tablespoons water
Red and black pepper, and chili powder for taste.
Directions:
- Prepare the Knorr side as directed on package
- Cook chicken in 1 tablespoon oil until white all the way through
- Add seasonings to the chicken
- Add Taco seasoning and 3 tablespoon water
- Simmer for five minute
- Bon Appétit!
