(Update 11:30 a.m.): Spokane (Wash.) Freeman high school offensive lineman Jordan Rose is in. The 6-6, 315 pound prospect is a good get for Petrino and Jon Carvin. He was formerly committed to Washington State but had his scholarship offer rescinded when he was suspended from his high school team. Rose could potentially grayshirt. San Diego wide receiver prospect Michael Garner joins him. He’s in the same mold as David Ungerer, short but fast. He is also a potential grayshirt.
(Update 10:30 a.m.): Pullman (Wash.) high school RB David Ungerer has become official. The greyhound is a teammate of Idaho coach Paul Petrino’s son, Mason. He was officially announced as a wide receiver by Idaho, though he could also be in play at running back at some point for a scat-back type of role. He’s a potential grayshirt candidate but would still apply to the class of 2014, much like Gunnar Amos.
Congrats to @DaveyDaveIII on joining the family today #GoVandals

(Update: 10:12 a.m): It’s coming one at a time now. I’m counting 22 letters including grayshirts and early enrollee junior college players with the latest letter from West LA JC defensive end Kaylyn Ayers. Not much on him. He was committed to FCS Morgan State last February but went back to West LA JC. This could be just be a depth move.
(Update: 9:48 a.m.): One huge sigh of relief out from the Idaho coaching staff. Jacksonville, Fla. DB Dorian Clark is in. The Florida pipeline has so far been good for Idaho, Jordan Grabski and Richard Montgomery both played key roles for Idaho last season. The same is expected out of Clark, who could come in and start right away as a true freshman in a thin defensive backfield.
(8:30 a.m.) I woke up a little too early for this one. With 11 of its 2014 signees already on campus, the fax machine didn’t start rolling into 8:30 for Idaho. But once it heated up, it got rolling. Six letters are in for Idaho, including both quarterback commits — Gunnar Amos and Jake Luton.
Defensive back Dennis Rufus was initially a San Jose State commit in 2011 with a considerable amount of interest out of high school from schools such as Utah, Iowa State and Colorado State.
Jermaine Johnson only caught 18 passes for New Mexico Military last season, but 4 of the 18 were touchdown catches. That might be the point for the 6-4 target, he averaged 20.8 yards-per-reception.
Kenny Torrence was a surprise signing, and if ESPN and 247Sports are to believed, Fresno State, WSU and Kansas State all offered the receiver. He totaled just under 1,000 yards and hauled in 10 touchdowns last season at Riverside City College. This looks like a huge get for Idaho.
