Idaho coach Paul Petrino may have filled one of his two vacant coaching positions.
Pete Roussel of coachingsearch.com has reported that Eric Brown has left Indiana State to join Idaho. Brown currently coaches outside linebackers for Indiana State, meaning he’d likely take over the linebackers coaching job left vacant by Mike Anderson.
Eric Brown is a graduate of Fresno State, having played four years for the Bulldogs before spending two years as a graduate assistant there.
From there he moved on to Indiana State and spent the 2012 season there coaching outside linebackers. He was joined on the Sycamore coaching staff by current Idaho defensive coordinator Ronnie Lee.
We have yet to confirm this news, but will pass it along as soon as we have more.
Indiana State assistant Eric Brown is heading to Idaho to join Paul Petrino’s staff.
