Update: Idaho has entered in to an agreement with Texas State for a home-and-home beginning in 2013 with a game in Moscow against the Bobcats, Idaho AD Rob Spear told Vandal Nation.
This game would replace New Mexico State’s trip to the Kibbie Dome in 2013 meaning the two schools would only play once in 2013 and once in 2014.
Idaho will still end its 2013 season with a road game in Las Cruces.
With tentative details still to be worked out, Idaho still expects New Mexico State to vist the Kibbie Dome in 2014.
The issues still being worked out are the 2014 dates with New Mexico State and Texas State, per our friends at BobcatReport who have confirmed our report.
Contracts for the #TXST and #Idaho home and home series have yet to be signed until a firm date can be selected and agreed upon in 2014.

The following is Idaho’s football schedule for the 2013 season, per an e-mail sent from the athletic department. The final game will be against an unannounced BCS opponent.
In a conference call, athletic director Rob Spear has also announced that Idaho will join the Big Sky Conference in all other sports for the 2014-2015 season.

Schedule quick facts for 2014
– Idaho would be one home game away from the NCAA mandated minimum of five home games. That could occur in Pullman or Spokane and be considered a home game, or Idaho could fill that slot with another FCS opponent.
– Ohio would be expected to make the trip to Moscow in 2015. Idaho hopes to be in a conference by then.
– Idaho is expected to make a return trip to Old Dominion in 2019, and the return trip to Temple in 2016
