Ingredients:
- 1 slice of your favorite bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
- Optional: cheese
Instructions:
- Use a glass to cut a hole in the bread by pressing down firmly in the center of the glass.
- Lightly spread each side of the bread with butter or margarine and place in a frying pan on medium heat. I like to toast the bread centers as well.
- While the bread is toasting, mix the egg and milk in a small bowl and scramble.
- Once the bread is toasted on both sides, poor the egg mixture into the hole. If some egg escapes wait for it to cook a little and then simply scoop it back into the center.
- Flip the now egg-filled toast to cook the other side.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and place cheese on top to melt if desired.
- Fill the bread-cutting glass with juice and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
To make breakfast for a party larger than one, try using an electric griddle.
